PRO4 Business Systems recently helped a local medical clinic save over $10,000 in printing costs over a 60 month term. The medical office was with another manufacturer and was producing about 8,000 images a month, mostly via fax. They did not require 11 x 17” paper, printing or scanning.
PRO4 was able improve their document workflow with a Sharp Frontier series MX-B401 which offered printing scanning & fax-to-email routing as standard features. The customer upgraded from a 25 ppm copier with an 11 x 17” footprint, to a 40 ppm Frontier model which gave them added functionality all in a sleeker 8 ½” x 14” footprint.
Since most of their volume was via fax, the Sharp machine, utilizing new technology, moved the fax volume via inbound fax routing to their e-mail instead of printing it out.
This helped the customer to reduce their Carbon Footprint and help the Green Effort by allowing them to pick and choose the faxes to print. What they gained was a machine that fit their office needs, increased speed, reduced printing cost, and development of a more efficient document workflow without sacrificing quality or reliability.
